  • I first connected with Lisa’s work after reading some of her articles (in particular, "The Drained Brain") and immediately knew she would be an ideal fit for Adoption Services at JCFS Chicago. We had the privilege of hosting her for two trainings, where she was both a thought leader and a true partner. Her workshop for adoptive parents exploring the connection between adoption and addiction was crafted with exceptional care, clarity, and respect for lived experience. Participants left feeling grounded, understood, and empowered. LC is a thoughtful collaborator who listens, adapts, and brings passion into trainings. I highly recommend partnering with LC to train your organization!

  • Thanks to Lisa’s work and book, we have become increasingly aware of how many of the clients seeking services through our co-occurring treatment programs have experienced adoption and how it has affected them.

  • I came to LC for coaching to prepare for my first meeting with my birth mother. Her guidance and support in the months that followed made all the difference during what became a very complicated experience.
